Class Descriptions
Hot Yoga 26/2
With 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, this class is the traditional series of postures done in the hot room. This is a 90 minute moving meditation, a progressive series of postures that build upon each other, so it is imperative to arrive 5 minutes before class starts. The sequence of the postures are designed to allow the body to stretch, detoxify, relieve stress, tone the muscles and heal chronic pain such as arthritis, joint aches, knee injuries, back problems, and more. Cell phones and other electronics of any kind are not permitted in the room to allow for full meditation. Smart watches are permitted however they must be on silent and messages are not to be checked during class.
Inferno hot Pilates
Inferno Hot Pilates is the High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) using Pilates’ principles for the whole body. The exercises are high intensity to strengthen lean muscles, yet low-impact to keep joints healthy. The first 30 minutes focuses on core strength building and glut activation, which is extremely important to release lower back pain and increase energy.
The high-intensity second half is designed to create fast results, build long, lean muscle mass, and burn fat for a whole body workout.
Hot Pilates Sculpt
This class utilizes simple movements to engage different parts of the body in a concentrated period. It incorporates exercise for a full body with little to no cardio in 1 minute intervals. It is intended to challenge your muscles and increase your heart rate with compound movements.
Gentle Yoga
As a quiet meditation in a non-heated room, this class will be intended for joint muscle and connective tissue. It will target and lengthen overused daily muscles and joints for ease of use. It will increase the full range of movement and motion for daily life use.
Hot Body Pilates
This class puts you into a state of flow, utilizing Pilates movements to promote proper posture and flexibility while toning and strengthening your muscles.
Hot Power Fusion
This class incorporates classic 26&2 yoga postures with Power Yoga styles in a heated room. It is a blend of balancing, core work, and hip openers. It will utilize your body, encourage mindful focus, and detoxification.
Delightful Stretch
In a non-heated room with quiet music, this class will lengthen overused muscles and joints. It incorporates simple stretches to combat everyday lifestyles (driving, sitting at the computer, etc.). It will primarily focus on opening shoulders, back, and hips. This is best utilized as a rest day after all the pilates and hot yoga you’ve done!
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa yoga links movement with breath by flowing through a continuous series of poses. You will cultivate an awareness of the connection from one movement to the next, one breath at a time. It’s a holistic practice building mental and physical strength, flexibility and awakening your consciousness to achieve balance and completeness.
Kiss my Abs&Ass
This class consists of exercises with a strong emphasis on the glutes and abs using bands, weights, with high reps. (Hot Room)
